Nestled in Switzerland between the Alps and Lake Geneva, minutes from the Lavaux vineyard terraces, the Montreux Jazz Festival takes place every summer for two weeks right on the stunning shores of the lake. In its over 50-year history, Montreux has hosted iconic performances by artists such as Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, Elton John and Stevie Wonder.

While jazz, soul and blues are at the roots of the Montreux Jazz Festival, other styles of music have also found a place there, anchored by artistic encounters and unique experiments. In recent years Muse, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrel Williams, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Adele, Lady Gaga, Tyler The Creator, Lizzo, Rita Ora and many more have played in Montreux, honouring the legends who played before them.

A one-of-a-kind creative playground, artists at Montreux are known to get up close and personal with their fans—with concerts, jam sessions and workshops—creating deeply memorable moments. Now, in 2022, the Montreux Jazz Festival has partnered with OneOf to take the artist-fan journey to the next level with their debut NFT collection, “#MJF22”. The collection will drop in April 2022, beginning with complimentary NFTs available to all festival attendees. Subsequent drops of more exclusive and limited NFTs will follow, by renowned artists, Camille Walala, Bruno Gaeng, and Greg Guillemin.
